Bobby Drodofsky was called as Associate Pastor to Bloom Baptist Church in 2015, after attending Bloom for a few years, as he describes it, "to meet a pretty girl (married that pretty girl too!)." As Associate Pastor, Bobby is responsible for the spiritual shepherding and development of Bloom Baptist's youth. Additionally, Pastor Bobby oversees the direction and overall management of Bloom Baptist's small group and LifeQuest Group ministries.
Bobby met his wife, Marybeth, here at Bloom, and they were married in 2011. They have one adopted daughter, Trinity. Bobby is a Lithopolis, OH native, having grown up in the city, and currently resides just down the road in Canal Winchester. Bobby has a B.A. in Biblical and Theological Studies from Liberty University, and is a veteran of the United States Army.
Bobby is passionate about counseling teenagers and teaching, and is blessed to be able to combine those passions through his position at Bloom on a daily and weekly basis. Bobby is also passionate about knowing and hearing the Holy Spirit, which he believes is something that can be a deficit in SBC churches. Some of Bobby's other interests include exercise, watching movies, hiking, shooting sports, and shopping.
Some of Bobby's favorite verses are:
Psalm 94:19, "When I am filled with cares,
your comfort brings me joy."
Jeremiah 33:3, "Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and incomprehensible things you do not know."
Isaiah 26:3-4, "You will keep the mind that is dependent on you
in perfect peace, for it is trusting in you. 4 Trust in the Lord forever, because in the Lord, the Lord himself, is an everlasting rock!"
