Bloom Baptist is managed first and foremost by the authority of the Word of God, and a Senior Pastor. The Senior Pastor is the primary leader of the church, and oversees the spiritual health and overall direction of Bloom Baptist. Bloom also has an Associate/Youth Pastor, who is responsible primarily for the youth programs at the church, and supporting and teaching the Senior Pastor as the need arises. We also have Worship Pastor, who is responsible for the music ministry and service planning on Sunday mornings. Finally, Bloom has an office support staff, as well as a host of volunteers who help each of the aforementioned ministries, and others, run smoothly.

Senior Pastor - Mike O'Bryant

Pastor Mike came to Bloom Baptist Church in March 2005. He is married to Kathy and has two children, Mary Beth and Ben. In addition to his ministry at Bloom, he also is active in the Metro Columbus Baptist Association and the State Convention of Baptists in Ohio. He also enjoys serving as Chaplain for the Canal Winchester Football team.

Associate Pastor - Bobby Drodofsky

Pastor Bobby has been Associate Pastor since 2015. He is married to Mary Beth and has one daughter, Trinity. Bobby is a veteran of the United States Army. As Associate Pastor, Bobby is responsible for the spiritual shepherding and development of Bloom Baptist's youth. Additionally, Pastor Bobby oversees the direction and overall management of our small group and Sunday School programs.

Worship pastor - Jules Schieferstein

Jules Schieferstein came to Bloom Baptist in August of 2018. He is a 2018 graduate of Cedarville University, and graduated with a B.A. in Worship. As Worship Pastor, he is responsible for the music ministry at Bloom Baptist, which involves the Bloom praise team, band, and choir. In addition to the worship ministries at Bloom, Pastor Jules is also the webmaster and head of social media outreach.

Church Clerk - Monica Slone

Monica joined the staff in 2010 but has been a part of Bloom Baptist since 2005. She is retired from Macy's and resides in Canal Winchester with her husband, Ernie Bernum.

Administrative Assistant - Tim Tallman

Tim joined the staff in 2010 and has been a member of Bloom Baptist since 2004. He is a veteran of the United States Navy as a submariner and retired from the nuclear energy industry. In addition to his ministry at Bloom, Tim is a real estate agent. Tim and his wife, Ginny, have seven adult children.
